David van Schelven

David joined the WMC Energy team in 2022. As Head of Finance and Risk, David is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions and risk management.

Prior to joining WMC Energy, David worked in multiple finance roles for Nutreco for eight years–notably as Finance Director of Eastern Canada for the last five. David started his career PwC in The Netherlands servicing clients in the Financial Services industry in the auditing and transactions environment.

David holds a Master of Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a Post Master Accountancy (Registered Accountant) with University of Amsterdam.
